We started making sausage skins!  Not the most obvious origin story for a teeth-whitening dissolving strip manufacturer.

The thin film technology required for edible foosd casings – precise, food-safe, scalable, consistent – turns out to be be exactly the foundation needed to make a dissolving strip that performs reliably in the human mouth.

In 2003, that expertise was spun out as a dedicated specialist in thin dissolving films.  The application evolved – from food manufacturing into breath freshening, from breath freshening into broader oral care and pharmaceuticals, and eventually into the product category that needed the technology most.

Teeth whitening had been waiting decades for a format that was genuinely convenient, comfortable, and gone when it said it was!

Twenty-plus years of dissolving film expertise.  A 25,000 sq ft facility in Blantyre, Glasgow.  The only global manufacturer dedicated entirely to dissolving oral care strips.

From Scotland, we supply brand partners globally.  The route here was unconventional. The destination was worth it.
